Who We Are | Our Strategy
…it all begins with strategy
Jay K. Hoffman & Associates prides itself on being able to ‘tell a good story’ on behalf of our clients based on a clearly defined strategy. This approach translates news into public awareness, strategic exposure, marketing leadership, and continuous image and branding support.
The Hoffman organization is one of the classical music industry’s most distinguished and effective public relations and marketing organizations. Actively functioning in North America, Asia, Europe, and South America, the company serves the ever-challenging public relations and marketing needs of the international classical music community in ways unique within the music/arts industry. In effect, it asks its clients to consider the consequences of the publicity in would like to have, and then it develops strategies that are capable of enlarging the scope of the publicity.
The organization specializes in individual and institutional clients as well as works on multi-cultural, multi-disciplinary projects around the world. The company has promoted the Great Wall Festival & Academy in China, the Great Mountains Music Festival & School in South Korea, Gulbenkian Foundation in Portugal, Mostly Mozart Festival at Lincoln Center (which Mr. Hoffman founded), Canada’s largest arts festival – Luminato, Ravinia Festival, Virginia Arts Festival and Eastern Music Festival; composer John Corigliano, concert artists Richard Goode and Sharon Isbin; conductors Christoph Eschenback and Paavo Jarvi; and chamber ensembles which include the Kalichstein-Laredo-Robinson Trio, Sejong Soloists, and Sao Paulo Symphony; and opera star Jennifer Larmore.
Jay K. Hoffman & Associates has extensive expertise in working with government and corporate clients, having worked with the Finnish and Norwegian governments; the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg, and the Companhia Vale do Rio Doce of Brazil.
On the project front, the company works closely with record companies Nonesuch, EMI, Universal, and has publicized the cutting-edge record label Ondine, the educational website www.violinmasterclass.com, and the Boulez project at Alliance Française in New York.
